This new 5-week class is for students who want to further their skills in beadmaking and working hot glass in the torch.

Students will continue to refine multiple bead shapes including hollows on puffy mandrels and basic sculpture techniques. They will also refine their skills by exploring intermediate decorative techniques such as multi-layered dots, raking, using frit, and implosions. 

At this time we plan to use the hothead torches for this class, but we are hoping to be able to upgrade to our Oxy-Propane torches. If possible this class will include an introduction to these torches.

The instructor will be there to assist with design techniques, offer suggestions and assist students in completing their design ideas.

Class price includes safety glasses, various colors of Moretti glass, mandrels, kiln time, and all the tools needed.

You have 3 free open studios that need to be used within 3 months of the end of class. You will need to bring your own glass and mandrels. A glass kit with additional colors and mandrels is available for $50.00.
