Join us for our newest glass fusing class! The Doodle Dish was created by Leslie Speicher, the owner of Chicago Glass Collective. She has developed this technique over time with lots of experimenting. She wanted to have you, the student, have more input on the design of your piece. 

This technique is achieved by drawing a Doodle of your own at home on an 8.5” x 11” piece of paper then, with the help of your instructor, your Doodle will be transferred to your base glass. You will then add a variety of beautifully colored crushed glass, a.k.a. frit, to your piece in order to bring your Doodle to life with glass!

You will choose from an 8” clear circle or square for your base glass. In class you will have to purchase a square or circle of another color to add to your piece during the final firing if you like. Prices vary based on what color you choose. 

Once you have registered for the class we will send you an instruction sheet with tips and tricks about how to enhance certain aspects of your Doodle so that your final design makes the most of this technique.

This class is 2.5 hours long in order to give you plenty of time to make your Doodle Dish just the way you want. No experience required. Ages 14+
