Create a beautiful and colorful fused glass candle holder that resembles a handkerchief/fabric that folds and twists once draped in the kiln.
These folds, twists, and corners, derived from the square shape, capture the light from the candle and make the entire piece glow.
In this new glass class at Chicago Glass Collective, you will learn how to cut and assemble flat glass safely and have multiple styles and colors of glass to use in your project. You will receive a clear 6" square for your base. We will then talk about the use of the draping method in the kiln to complete your piece.
Your votive candle holder is perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, and it adds a warm and inviting glow to any space. LED candles are recommended. Candle not included with holder.
Great for a date night or a girls'/guys' night out!
• No experience necessary and great for ages 14+.
• Ages 14-15 must have an adult present with them for the entire class.
• All materials are provided. Your pieces will be fired after class and ready to pick up appox. 2-3 weeks after class. We do our very best to have your pieces finished within two weeks.
