This class is for anyone who has taken a 4-week beadmaking class and wants to refine techniques, learn some helpful tips in order to use heat more efficiently, shape more precisely and work out other issues they may be having.
Students should come to class with questions and requests for demos to add to what the instructor will be teaching. Group and individual demos will be given.
Students should bring their own glass and mandrels. Tools and kiln time are included in the class price. Glass and mandrels are available for purchase. Full kits (17colors and 12 mandrels) are $50
Prerequisite- at least a one 4-week beadmaking class at CGC.
Topics that will be covered are Hollow Beads on Puffy Mandrels, Encasing, advanced Dot work and Stringer work.
There are 2 free open studios that come with this class. Open studios must be used within 3 months of the end of the class.
