Survey of Glass: Flame & Fuse (3 weeks)

This 3-week class introduces you to three glass techniques: fusing, casting, and flameworking with a torch.
Become familiar with the tools, basic techniques, and materials needed to create projects, such as glass beads for jewelry, functional fused pieces, and a cast paperweight. Color, decoration, design, and process will be covered.
No experience is needed. The materials fee includes assorted glass colors, tools, mandrels, fuel, and kiln firings.
