Survey of Glass (4 weeks)

This 4-week class introduces you to four glass techniques: fusing, casting, glassblowing and flameworking with a torch.
Become familiar with the tools, basic techniques, and materials needed to create projects, such as glass beads for jewelry, functional fused pieces, a cast glass paperweight, and a glass-blown cup. Color, decoration, design, and process will be covered.
No experience is needed. The materials fee includes assorted glass colors, tools, mandrels, fuel, and kiln firings.
